Cubs Bar & Grill, located in ORD Terminal 3, offers a refreshing deviation from typical airport dining. This bar and grill captures the essence of Chicago's baseball charm, enhancing the travel experience with its unique ambiance and decor featuring baseball memorabilia. Guests like Amy Klein appreciate the opportunity for a sit-down meal, noting that the service and atmosphere elevate what is often a rushed airport environment. The menu features a delightful range of options, from Cubbies Junior Meals to Kerry Wood's Signature Stanburger. Diners have highlighted dishes such as the ham and cheese omelet and the flavorful pitcher's pasta, with many praising the food's quality and taste. However, some, like Dave Steele, have pointed out that prices are on the higher end, typical of airport eateries, and portions can be smaller. Yet, the warmth of the staff, as noted by Sean Sullivan and Elizabeth Maldonado, creates a welcoming space that feels more like a cozy bar than an ordinary terminal restaurant. For fans of the Cubs or simply those seeking a memorable meal while traveling, Cubs Bar & Grill stands out as a must-visit. It's a spot where nostalgia blends with comfort food, making any layover a little more delightful.Photos

Based on 838 reviewsCubs Bar & Grill, located in Chicago O'Hare Terminal 3, is frequently praised for its unique and charming atmosphere that stands out among typical airport dining options. Customers appreciate the nostalgic baseball-themed decor and the relaxing environment, which provides a pleasant break from the busy terminal. The food is generally well-received, especially breakfast offerings, though some note that prices and portion sizes reflect the airport setting. Service experiences vary, with many highlighting friendly and attentive staff, though occasional delays are mentioned. Overall, Cubs Bar & Grill is recognized as a distinct and enjoyable spot for travelers seeking a sit-down meal with a local flair during their airport layover.
An interesting and unique dining experience. Usually airports have a lot of similar chain restaurants, which works great, but it's nice to have a place unique to its location. I enjoyed the food (breakfast in my case), the lighted marquee and baseball memorabilia. Having a relaxing sit down, serviced meal elevates travel.
Service was a little bit slow. And the fry portion was little small for what you pay, but it is in an airport, so expect to pay more. Overall it was great food, so I cant complain too much!! If you're in Chicago O'Hare Airport, its worth checking out.
My experience was great. I had wonderful customer service, I went at a time that happened to be quiet and not busy. I had a great ham and cheese omelet with breakfast potatos. I recommend this place to anyone who has to travel through Chicago and has some time to sit and enjoy a meal. I understand it is an airport, however, it was also very expensive. That is the only downside I will say about the entire thing.
Hand down, my favorite restaurant to eat at while traveling. If it was open to the public without having to fly, I’d still come here! Maybe I’m nostalgic for the Cubs. Who knows. It’s not a 5 star restaurant. It’s a bar. And it’s charming. You do not feel like you’re in the airport. I’ve picked flights with layovers in ORD just to come here.
The food was very good, the atmosphere was great with views of the tarmac and planes coming and going. The service was excellent and waiter was very friendly.
Staff: The staff was quick to attend to us. Our food came out fast and was delicious. Building: The building is within the airport rotunda and very well taken care of. Food: The food was great. I go here every time I have a layover. Highly recommend. Parking: plenty of parking. Star rating: 5 because of the price and the usefulness of the products. I have no problem coming back here every chance I get. If this review helped, please hit the thumbs up and give me a follow.
My experience here today was great, was looking for a place to relax for a bit (longer lay over) that wasn't in the crowded areas AND had a plug for my phone. Sat at the bar, my Bulgarian bartender was fabulous and she offered great conversation. The hot dogs and fries were tasty and came out super fast. I wish the old fashioned wasn't 26.... so I opted for a modelo instead
I love Chicago food... so when flying in/thru ORD I try to grab something unique to the area and nothing is more “technical” to make than a simple hot dog. So, I came here on a recent connection thru this airport. The service was good... the food was awesome! Loved that Chicago Dog! Though it was far from the best I’ve had, it was so good it reminded me of what I miss from regular visits to Portillo’s. And seriously, you can get these in the DC area! Worth stopping in... for sure!
